Taking into account the world concern about the toxic gases emissions to the atmosphere, Odin Petroleum Corporation unites to the established in the international agreements to contribute to solve the environmental problems we face currently, this is the reason why, within its social responsibility program, includes not only improve the quality of fuels we produce to them be less pollutant, but also the creation of new alternative energy sources.

As part of the Business Group, Odin Energy Corporation, Odin Petroleum Corporation is in charge to distribute these energy products developed by the companies owned by Odin Grupo de Energía S.A., where are carrying out relevant researching projects, in laboratories fitted with the highest technology and leaded by specialized personnel, with the purpose to offer to the national and international market, less harmful fuels to environment.

Currently its headquarter, Odin Energy Corporation, through Odin Grupo de Energía S.A., is expanding the production capacity of its biodiesel and petroleum refineries; at the same time started a construction project of a Mixing unit, which will allow to produce mixtures of biodiesel (B100) with petroleum diesel (D2), in different percentages, such as B5, B10, B20, among others, where the number represents the biodiesel percentage content in the blending. This makes possible a better use of the fossils fuels in accordance with the provisions of the Kyoto Protocol.
